How to Prepare Minced Meat Cutlet? – Viji’s Food Recipes


Minced Meat – 1/2 kg

Fine Breadcrumbs – 2/3 cup

Beaten Egg – 1/2

Salt and Pepper to taste

Onion – 1

Garlic – 2 Cloves(chopped)

Mint Leaves – A few fresh or dried mint leaves (finely chopped)

Green Onion – 1 (chopped Finely)

Worcester sauce – 2 tbsp

Finely Chopped Parsley – 1 tbsp

Oil – 2 tbsp

Water – 1/2 cup

For Coating : Fine dry Breadcrumbs,  Beaten egg – 1 ,  Oil for Frying


Heat 2 tbsp oil and fry onion and garlic lightly. Add minced meat, salt  and pepper. Stir fry for a while, till light brown. Add about 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook till the meat is tender and dry. Cool. Mix in mint , parsley , beaten egg, green onion and green chilli, Worcester sauce and fresh breadcrumbs. Mix well. Shape into cutlets, roll in dry crumbs. Fry in hot oil until uniformly brown. Serve with grilled tomatoes.
