French Dressing For Lettuce Salad – Viji’s Food Recipes

Lettuce Salad

When Lettuce is served alone as a salad it is generally called French Salad. The Lettuce is washed and drained (not squeezed) and just before serving, a French dressing is mixed with the lettuce. If the dressing is added any length of time before serving, the vinegar in the dressing will break down the fibers of the lettuce and it will become soft and unappetizing.

French Dressing For Lettuce Salad

Ingredients:   (mix well together)

Vinegar – 1 tbsp

Oil – 3 tbsp

Sugar – 1 salt spoon

Salt – 1 salt spoon

Black Pepper – 1 salt spoon
