EGG :

Egg helps to tighten the skin. Used on hair it is a wonderful conditioner, leaves the hair soft smooth. The yolk is also used on hair because hair is made up of protein and yolk is also protein. It strengthens the hair, if you have dandruff problem it should not be used. The white of an egg is a cleanser and closes the enlarged pores. It is used for oily skin and the yolk is used for daily skin.

SUGAR:

It is used as a scrub for oily skin, mix with cleansing milk and as it is coarse rub gently on the face and neck till the sugar gets dissolved.

SALT:

Bathing the eyes with Luke warm water to which little salt is added can brighten up the eyes. Soaking the feet with 3 tblsp of salt mixed with warm water helps to reduce fatigue. It can also be used as a scrub for dry skin mixing it with some cleansing milk. Used to heal blemishes too.

CASTOR OIL :

It can be applied on eyes lashes, eyebrows to darken and thicken them. A drop of this oil smeared around the eyelids can reduce puffiness around it. To rejuvenate the hair, rub Castor oil to the scalp at bedtime and wash your hair the next morning.

HONEY:

It has the ability to attract and retain moisture. It is suitable for sensitive skin. It has a natural anti oxidant properties. Anti oxidants play a role in protecting the skin from the damage of UV rays and aiding in skin rejuvenation. It is used for minor acne flare ups. It is also used as a conditioner for hair when mixed with olive oil.

YOGURT:

It is a hair cleanser. Used to remove tan on skin. Sour curd is used for the treatment of dandruff.

LIME:

For an oily skin squeeze lemon juice in a bowl of  ice water. Splash this over the face, massage for five minutes and then wash off with water. To improve dull and greasy complexion, Mix half teaspoon lime juice with one teaspoon of cucumber juice and few drops of rose-water. Apply on the face and neck and leave on for 15 minutes then remove with water. For the treatment of falling hair mix with coconut milk. It should be taken plenty, as it contains ascorbic acid, which heals wounds, helps to maintain good hair nails, teeth and complexion and guards against cold.

TEA LEAVES:

Left over tea leaves are very good for preventing the hair from falling and they also make the hair glossy and soft. They are also good in treating tired eyes.

MILK:

Raw milk is a natural cleanser. It lightens the complexion. It is used for any type of skin, it makes the skin soft and smooth.
