How to prepare Chocolate Walnut Cake? – Viji’s Food Recipes

Ingredients:
Margarine – 4 oz
Sugar – 4 oz
Cup Chocolate – 2 oz
Self – raising flour – 4 oz
Eggs – 2
Pinch of salt
Method:
Grease and line a 7-in. Cake tin. Heat oven to moderate and use middle shelf. Cream the margarine and sugar until white and fluffy then add well-beaten eggs gradually. Fold in sieved flour and salt and, lastly, add the chocolate. If necessary, add a little milk to make a soft dropping consistency. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until well risen and firm to the touch, and turn on the wire tray to cool. Cover the top with chocolate glace icing and decorate with walnuts.
