How to Make Lobster Curry?

Ingredients: (for 4)

Lobsters (average sized) – 4 (225 gm)

Onions – 55 gm

Fat – 30 gm

Garlic – a few flakes

Green Chillies – 6

Ginger – 1 piece

Spices for Grinding:

Vinegar – 30 ml

Salt – to taste


Cumin – 1/2 tsp

Turmeric – 1/4 tsp

Red Chillies – 3

Cloves – 3

Peppercorns – 4

Cinnamon – a small piece

Large cardamom – 2


Boil live lobsters.

Remove the meat from tail, claws and body.

Chop onion, garlic, green chillies and ginger.

Grind remaining spices.

Heat fat. Fry chopped ingredients.

Add lobsters and ground spices. Continue frying for 2 or 3 minutes longer.

Add vinegar, water, salt and let it simmer till cooked.
