Vegetarian Sausages


Vegetarian Sausages

Ingredients:   (for 4)

Lentils   –  115 gm

Bread  –  55 gm

Rice –  55 gm

Eggs – 1

Marmite   –  1/4 tsp

Capsicum  –  30 gm

Butter –  15 gm

Salt – to taste

Breadcrumbs – 20 gm

Fat to fry – 30 gm

Method:

Boil lentils and rice separately.

Put them into a pan, add fresh breadcrumbs and marmite, salt and pepper.

Parboil capsicum, chop fine and add to above mixture.

Add melted butter. Mix well.

Keep on fire and cook lightly.

Turn out and leave till cold. When cold, flour the hands and form into small sausages; coat with egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry.
