How to Make Roast Potatoes? – Potato Recipes – Viji’s Food Recipes


Roast Potatoes

Ingredients:   (for 4 )

Potatoes  – 450 gm

Salt   –  to taste

Fat  – 250 gm

Method:

Wash, Peel and rewash potatoes.

Cut into even-sized portions.

Parboil in salted water. Drain well.

Heat fat in a roasting tray.

Add the potatoes and lightly brown on all sides.

Cook in a hot oven turning the potatoes once or twice.

Cook to a golden brown. Drain.

Serve hot with roast meat.

N.B :-  Approximate cooking time: 1 hour.
