How to Make Pea Pulao? – Pulao Recipes


Pea Pulao

Ingredients:   (for 4)

Pulao rice  – 500 gm

Peas  –  500 gm

Fat  – 50 gm

Onions  – 50 gm

Cardamom  –  2 gm

Cloves   –  2 gm

Cinnamon   –   2 gm

Bay leaf   –   2 gm

Salt   –   to taste

Method:

Wash and soak pualo rice.

Shell peas.

Drain rice, slice onions.

Heat fat. Fry sliced onions till golden brown.

Remove onions; drain. Add whole spices.

Add rice and fry well. Add peas, continue frying for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add stock or hot water ( double the amount of rice) and salt.

Cover and cook.

Finish off as for fried rice.
