How to Make Peas Paneer Curry? – Tasty Vegetable Recipes


Peas Paneer Curry


Fresh peas   –  450 gm

Cottage cheese (paneer)   –   115 gm

Coriander powder  –  5 gm

Chilli powder  –  1/2 tsp

Turmeric  –  a pinch

Garam masala –  1 /8 tsp

Onion  – 55 gm

Fat  – 30 gm

Garlic  – 3 flakes

Ginger – a small piece

Tomatoes – 225 gm

Salt – to taste

Blanched almonds or cashewnuts  – 30 gm

Curds – 30 gm

Coriander leaves –  a few sprigs


Grind together onion, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric, ginger and garlic to a fine paste.

Grind almonds or cashewnuts  separately.

Heat fat. Fry paneer cubes till light brown and remove.

In the same fat fry spices. Add peas and fry.

Add tomato pulp. salt and a small quantity of water.

Cook till peas are soft. Add fried cottage cheese. Simmer.

Add the ground nuts and beaten curds.

Mix well. Bring to boil and serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
