Vegetable Cheese Pie


1 Pint prepared cheese sauce

Potatoes – 1 kg

Mixed, Cooked vegetables – 1 1/2 lb

Beaten egg  – 1

Butter – 2 ozs

Salt , pepper and chilli powder – to taste

Grated cheese

Mushrooms and boiled egg for garnishing


Cook Vegetables till tender.

Take a fireproof dish and put in alternate layers of vegetable and cheese sauce.

Cook potatoes and sieve them.  Mix potatoes  with butter, egg and seasoning and spread on top of the vegetables.

Sprinkle grated cheese on top and brown in the oven.

Garnish with sliced boiled eggs and cooked mushrooms and heat again.
