How to Make Tomato Cheese Pizza? – Food Recipes


Tomato Cheese Pizza


Flour  –  250 gm

Fresh yeast or Dry yeast – 15 gm

Milk  – 50 ml

Salt  – 1/2 tsp

Egg  – 1

Fat  – 20 gm

Butter for brushing  – 15 gm

Tomatoes  – 500 gm

Onions  – 200 gm

Mushrooms  – 15 gm

Cheese  –  100 gm

Olives  – 10 gm

Capsicums  – 100 gm

Red chilli powder  – 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder (optional)  – 1/2 tsp


For the Filling:

Chop onions and half the capsicums into fine pieces and slice the remaining capsicums into rounds.

Blanch tomatoes and chop into five pieces.

Saute the onions and chopped capsicums in the fat and add chopped tomatoes.

Add 50 gm of grated cheese and salt, red chilli powder and pepper powder.

Mix well and set aside.

For the dough:

Make a soft dough with flour, yeast, egg, milk and salt and keep covered for half an hour for fermentation.

Divide into 6 portions and roll into 10 cm  (4″)  diameter rounds.

Keep them on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Keep them for proving for 20 minutes.

when proved enough, prick them nicely with a fork.

Bake at  205’C  (400’F)  for about 10 minutes.

Remove and brush with melted butter.

Spread the tomato filling over and decorate with mushrooms, olives and sliced capsicums.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over and bake again for another  5 minutes at 205’C (400’F) and serve hot.
