How to Make Jam Tarts? – International Dessert Recipes

Flour (maida) – 115 gm
Fat – 60 gms (4 tbsp)
Baking Powder – 1/4 tsp
Cold water to mix
Sugar – 5 gms (optional)
Jam – 55 gm
Sieve flour and baking powder.
Rub in fat lightly with the fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Add sugar if it is being used and mix.
Mix with cold water to a dough and then roll on a floured slab or board and cut as required.
Line patty tins and fill two-thirds with jam.
Bake in a hot oven at 400′ F for 15 minutes.
