Spicy Chilli Chicken


Ingredients:

Chicken  (cut into pieces)   –   1 (preferably broiler)

Marinade:

Juice of Lime  – 1 tbsp

Soya Sauce –  1 tbsp

Crushed Ginger  –  1/4″

Salt   –   to taste

Red Chilli    –   1  to  3  (ground)

Oil – 1 tbsp

Chicken Stock –  1 cup

Green chillies  –  3  (cut lengthwise and par-boiled)

Cornflour   –   1 tbsp

Salt    –    1/2 tsp

Oil    –   5 to 6 tbsp

Method:

Marinate chicken for three to four hours in the mixture given above.

Heat oil. Fry chillies and take out.

In the same oil fry chicken till golden brown and tender lift out.

Separately combine the marinade stock, cornflour and salt.

Heat half a tablespoon oil.

Stir in the marinade-stock mixture.

Cook stirring till it thickens to sauce consistency.

Pour over fried chicken and green chillies.

Serve immediately
