Continental Chicken



Ingredients:

Chicken – 1 large

Boiled Spaghetti  – 1 cup

Tomato ketchup –  3 cup

Tomato puree  – 3/4 cup

Cornflour  – 1 tbsp

Garlic  – 6 flakes

Pineapple  – 2  slices

Egg  – 1

Boiled Peas  – 2 tbsp

Mustard powder  – a pinch

Salt and Chilli powder   – to taste

Parsley leaves for garnishing

Oil for frying

Method:

Joint chicken and stream it in two and a half cups water with salt, grated onion and chopped garlic.

Remove chicken pieces from stock, dip in beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs and fry a light brown on both sides.

Cut pineapple into small bits.

To make sauce heat together cornflour, stock, salt, chilli powder, mustard powder, tomato ketchup and tomato puree and cook till thick.

Mix in pineapple bits and remove from fire. Boil peas and spaghetti separately.

To serve, arrange chicken pieces in the center of large platter.

Surround with spaghetti and place knots of peas all arround.

Pour sauce on top of chicken and garnish with parsley.
