Mutton Baked In Tomato Gravy

Ingredients:

Meat  – 2 cups   (Cooked Cubed)

Tomatoes  – 1/2 kg  (minced)

Onions  – 1/4 kg  (minced)

Salt   – to taste

Cornflour  – 2 tsps

Breadcrumbs  – 1/2 cup (dry)

Butter  – 2 tsps

To be Chopped:

Garlic  – 6 cloves

Green chillies  – 3

A small piece of ginger

A small bunch of Coriander leaves

Half a bunch mint

Method:

Cook the tomatoes and onions with all the cut masala, some salt and a cup of water, for 15 minutes.

Strain well through a sieve.

Dissolve the cornflour to a smooth paste in a quarter cup of water, mix into the tomato juice  and cook, stirring, till thick.

Mix in the meat, pour into a greased dish, cover with breadcrumbs and dot all over the top with small lumps of butter.

Bake in a moderately hot oven for half an hour or till done.
