Cottage Cheese



Boil 1 litre rich milk.

Add juice of half a lime and 2 to 3 tbsp.

Well- beaten curds. Stir reduce heat.

The mixture appears to curdle and the way is separate.

Remove from heat. Stand in a warm place for 4 to 5 minutes.

Turn into a muslin bag and let the way drain off.

Hang the bag till all the way has drained off.

Now break up the cheese (paneer) with a  fork into coarse minced meat consistency.

Mode of Serving:

Salads, sandwiches, appetizers, cheesecakes and as paneer in Indian curries.
