French Toast

Ingredients:

Bread  – 450 gm

Milk   –  500 ml

Eggs  –  2

Sugar  –   40 gm

Vanilla   –    a  few  drops

Fat  – 100 gm

Method:

Boil the milk and half the sugar.

Beat eggs and mix with milk.

Add vanilla.

Soak slices of bread in the mixture for half an hour.

Shallow fry to golden brown. Turn over, fry the other side.

Serve hot with sugar sprinkled on top.
