Peas And Noodle Casserole


Ingredients:

Noodles   –   300 gm

Shelled fresh peas    –  400 gm

Milk    –    2 cups

Eggs     –    4     (slightly beaten)

Coriander leaves    –     1 tbsp   (chopped)

Onion  –   1 small  (chopped)

Green chillies   –   3 finely chopped or minced

Grated cheese  – 1 1/2 cups

Shredded ham  – 150 gm

Salt   – to taste

Chilli powder  – a pinch

Butter  – 2 tbsp

Method:

Cook  noodles as directed on package. Drain.

Slowly heat the butter in a saucepan with a tight-fitting cover.

Rinse peas in cold water and add.

Cook covered for 10 minutes till peas are barely tender.

Combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl.

Mix in the noodles and peas.

Turn into a baking dish and set the dish in a pan containing 1 inch of hot water.

Bake for about 45 minutes or until cooked right through.
